We’re Wout & Lauren and we simply can’t introduce ourselves without mentioning our sweet Australian Shepherd, Lumi. She’s an inseparable part of our little family.

Wout is the always-up-for-a-challenge kind of guy. Lauren? The dancing-in-the-street type of girl. And yes, we’ve got the track record to prove it.

Wout is a passionate physics teacher, head youth leader, and scout through and through. He tackled wild challenges on the Belgian kids' show Helden and later appeared in programs on VTMGO. Fire breathing and backflips? Just another Tuesday. He also takes great joy in turning pop hits into piano or recorder covers, it’s basically a sport by now. Want to talk about the solar system or black holes? He's your guy.

Lauren grew up on stage performing in musicals and later acted and sang on television. Galaxy Park or the song Get Up ring a bell? That’s her. A curious multi-passionate creative, she hit pause on her artistic career to earn a Master’s in Psychology and another in Broadcast Journalism. On top of that, she's also earned her vinyasa yoga teacher certificate. People often ask: “Will you ever sing again?” Her answer? One day, she’ll sing her heart out on the road on a street corner, in a bar, or maybe even on top of the van. And who knows… maybe one day, back on stage too.

Together, we make a pretty great team (if we say so ourselves). We share a deep passion for discovering the world and creating beautiful things. Most of our weeknights turn into long brainstorms about the next thing we want to build together. And that’s exactly what we hope to keep doing, all across the road trip of a lifetime.
